Associates are united and inspired by the charism, spirituality and mission of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul by sharing a common call to compassionate service. Monthly meetings are held through the fall, winter and spring at St. Joseph Church parish centre, Belleville.

Knights of Columbus Council 16308

Meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7pm in the parish centre

Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Their intent was to bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families.

Today, Father McGivney is being considered for sainthood.

Mission Statement: to follow the teaching of the Scripture passage Micah 6:8 "to act justly, to love tenderly and to walk humbly with God" and to invite all parishioners to embrace this teaching.

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic organization whose mission is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy.
